WE ARE CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING NEW BUILD REQUESTS. AT THIS TIME WE DO NOT HAVE A PROJECTED RE-OPEN DATE FOR BUILD REQUESTS.
THIS HOLD IS ONLY ON BUILD'S. WE WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE AND STOCK SHRUTHI, AMBIKA & LSW EURORACK MODULES
No two PCB's are the same. Some are simple in design but require a lot of hand wiring. Some are complex but are limited in hardware control. Most of the time, I will not know the totals until I can get quotes built for parts and time.
All builds will be billed in 2 installments. Initial payment is to cover parts cost. 2nd and final payment is to cover build costs. At the end of a build, a photo of the unit will be supplied with the invoice.

THE FINE PRINT
Each synth/unit that I build is on a "per-job" basis. I do not order the required parts until a request is made. Before placing an order, please read over these requirements/notices.
There are a couple of restrictions where I will not do a build:
For all inquiries head over to the CONTACT page.
- Each synth is custom built. Depending on the size and complexity of the build, this could take a day to a week or more to complete.
- This is just a passion / hobby. I have a daytime job, so I cannot always get to start a build right away. Depending on volume and amount of available time, it may take up to 2 weeks to begin a build. When an order is placed, I can give a better idea of a timeline and we can go from there.
- All builds will be warrantied for 1 year after completion. I do not offer phone support. Any tech support will be limited to email. If the issue requires servicing, I will cover return shipping costs. You will be responsible for shipping charges to me.
- Any modifications to the original design will not be warrantied.
- All builds will be paid in 2 installments. Initial payment is to cover parts cost. 2nd and final payment is to cover build costs. At the end of a build, a photo of the unit will be supplied with the invoice.
- I reserve the right to cancel any build due to work overload. If any down payments were made, they will be refunded.
- If what you want is not available as a PCB, I can get PCB's made. In order to do this I will need the PCB designs (.brd files or gerbers). I will not build a PCB solely from schematics. This is extremely time consuming and would take considerable billable hours to complete.
- If the synth does not come with a case, there will be additional charges for a case to be made. At the moment, the only material I can use is wood. If an acrylic case is desired, there are companies online that can take care of this, such as Ponoko.
- Be as specific as possible when requesting a build. Think of things like LED colors, LCD types/colors, knob colors/types, buttons, switches, etc. If it is not specifically requested, I will pick the parts at my own discretion.
- Ask as many questions as possible.
There are a couple of restrictions where I will not do a build:
- If original manufacturer offers a "pre-built" version (like Meeblip or Bleeplabs).
- If the schematic/pcb's/source code is not released as a Creative Commons License.
- If the manufacturer has a strict policy against building/selling their devices for a profit. Some, like MFOS and Mutable Instruments are OK with this (as long as you adhere to their guidelines), but others like MIDIbox are not. If the device is released as a Creative Commons License, there is no legality against it, but if it is known that the manufacturer requests that their kits not be bought then sold for a profit, it's basically law and strongly frowned upon. In no way will I do a build that goes against the original manufacturers wishes.
